Structure and the first calls
The first Horizon Europe Strategic Plan (2021-2024) is expected to be adopted in February 2021.
The first work programmes are expected to be published by April 2021. It is possible that the work programmes for the European Research Council (ERC) and European Innovation Council (EIC) will be published earlier. The first calls will open once the work programmes have been published.
The success of Horizon Europe (2021-2027) should also be ensured by simpler and more effective rules. Simplifying the model grant agreements and guidance to beneficiaries, lump-sum payments, broader acceptance of usual cost accounting practices, including up to 100% funding rate of direct costs.
Funding and tenders portal is a one-stop-shop for easy access to EU funding and project implementation.
UNIVNET offers its expertise in research and innovation and seeks cooperation in project consortia and participation in programs such as Horizon Europe in order to gain support for further research and development activities.

About UNIVNET
The Slovak University of Technology launched an initiative bringing together several research universities (University of Economics in Bratislava, Technical University of Košice, University of Žilina and Technical University in Zvolen) and with the Automotive Industry Association of the Slovak Republic founded the UNIVNET association in order to carry out research and development activities in the recycling and waste recovery, particularly in the automotive industry, since this is a dominant part of industry in Slovakia.
